How to add your team's matches to your calendar
spotted.gg can drop every match for the teams you follow straight into your calendar. You subscribe once with a private link, and from then on your calendar keeps itself up to date. It works in Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, Outlook, and any app that supports calendar subscriptions.
Step 1: generate your link
Open your Account page and, under Calendar feed, click Generate calendar link. That gives you a private feed URL ending in .ics. It contains the matches for the teams you currently follow.
Step 2: add it to your calendar
The quickest way is the matching button on your Account page:
- Google Calendar: click Add to Google. Google opens with the feed ready to add. Confirm and it appears under "Other calendars."
- Apple Calendar (Mac or iPhone): click Add to Apple. Your device asks to subscribe to the calendar. Confirm.
- Outlook: click Add to Outlook to add it on the web, or paste the link into Outlook desktop under Add calendar → Subscribe from web.
If a button doesn't fit your setup, copy the feed URL instead and paste it into your calendar app's Subscribe from URL (or Add from URL) option. Every app has one.
Good to know
- It refreshes on its own. Follow or unfollow a team and the calendar updates on its next refresh. You never have to re-add it.
- Your calendar decides how often to refresh. Most apps check a subscribed calendar every few hours, not instantly. So if a match time changes shortly before kickoff, your calendar may lag. Your email or Discord alert still fires 10 minutes before, so you won't miss it.
- Built-in reminder. Each match carries a reminder set for 10 minutes before kickoff. Apple Calendar and Outlook show it automatically. Google Calendar ignores reminders on subscribed calendars, so to get a Google pop-up, open the calendar's settings in Google and set a notification yourself.
- Keep the link private. Anyone with your feed URL can see which teams you follow. If it leaks, open your Account page and click Regenerate link. The old link stops working at once; re-add the new one.
